Do you design the project or deliver someone else's design?
Both. Maxime delivers projects signed by architects, interior designers and lighting designers, and also develops the lighting solution when the client arrives without a finished design.
Does Maxime work outside São Paulo?
Maxime is based in São Paulo, where most delivered projects are located. Work in other regions is assessed case by case, according to the scale and schedule of the project.
How does integration with the architect's project work?
Maxime starts from the existing design and works alongside the specifier to define position, output, colour temperature and how each piece is integrated, without altering the original concept of the space.
At what stage of the build should I bring Maxime in?
As early as possible. Involving Maxime while the project is still on paper avoids rework on ceilings, cabinetry and electrical infrastructure, which are exactly the elements that determine what is possible to do with light.
